It's time for another segment for Meet a Leapfiler so you can get to know our team a little better. Anthony joined us recently as our Technical Solutions Manager to ensure that our client service team is keeping all of our clients happy.

When we first met Anthony, some of us couldn't help but gushed out loud, "Oh my goodness it's Jean Claude van Damme!"

As it turned out, Anthony is a multi-talented ninja. Not only can he do splits, but he's been doing anything and everything that the team needs him for and more.

We have been claiming “The End of File Sharing” for the last few months, but what does it really mean?

DEMO officially announced the list of presenting companies for DEMO fall 09!

Now that the shackles have been loosened, we can finally announce that we will be launching "Oxygen" on September 21 at DEMO Fall'09. DEMO has served as the launching pad for the world's best known techology giants like Salesforce, TiVo, VMWare, E*Trade, Java, and Palm. And yet, our little though mighty team will attempt to compete on the same stage for the vaunted title of DEMOgod. We can do it!

It's an inside joke here at LeapFILE that we're the best kept secret in town. We provide an awesome solution to businesses who are seeking enterprise class, secure file transfer but we do little to no marketing. One way or another, however, our customers find us. It's a fact that over 90% of our customer base finds us because an existing customer recommended LeapFILE; or because they were on the recipient end of a LeapFILE transfer and were astounded by how easy the transfer process was.

As a service provider, our number one motto that we live and breathe here is of course, service (duh!). It is who we are, what we do, and what we will always be about. We work with each and every one of our clients every step of the way.

In the last couple days, rumors are flying around in the office as we are proposing a theory that CJ used to secretly be a rock star (based on some pictures we saw from his college days) although he has yet to confirm such rumors. Apparently CJ had a wild side that he has never showed anyone here in the office! So with this interview, we are looking to discover CJ beyond that warm, friendly guy who always has a big ol’ smile on his face.

For those following LeapFILE, you may have noticed that our website has undergone a dramatic redesign in the last week. If you haven't, we'll have to get a new web design team!

In November 2008, Microsoft made its announcement that it would begin selling a web-based version of Sharepoint in 2010. With Google apps already making serious inroads into the SMB and Enterprise market, one has to wonder whether it's too little, too late. Being late to the dance does not even take into account that the web version will be inferior to its client server version. By business model necessity, this has to be so because of Microsoft will not allow its 100,000 plus licenses fall to the wayside.

A lot of the attendees from AICPA Tech+ were kind enough to take the time and filled out a survey for us during the exhibition. We wanted to utilize the opportunity we had with our community to try to gain a better understanding on what each and every user is looking for so we can continue to develop and improve.
